Lauren Alagna is a certified 200Hr Yoga Teacher, 85Hr Prenatal Yoga Teacher, certified Pilates instructor, and professional dancer living in New York City. She completed her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Jimmy Barkan (The Barkan Method), her 85Hr Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training with Beth Donnelley Caban and Lara Kohn Thompson (Yoga Sanctuary), and her Pilates Teaching Certification with June Kahn (June Kahn's Bodyworks). In her classes, Lauren integrates elements of her Pilates and yoga training to find that balance of stretch and strength, and to build a flow that encourages students to enter their peak pose with confidence. Whether Lauren is teaching a vinyasa flow or a prenatal class, she emphasizes that a yoga practice is truly a complete mind-body experience for everybody and every body.
